Health Equity North Co-Directors discuss health inequalities at INRICH 2025

Two Health Equity North Academic co-directors presented at the 16th INRICH event at the University of Liverpool this month, an event which focussed around ‘Child Health Inequalities in a Time of Political Changes’.
Professor David Taylor-Robinson, Professor of Public Health and Policy at the University of Liverpool, chaired a session and panel event that saw presentations from various child health experts from across the sector deliver presentations about inequity challenges. Speakers included our academic co-director Professor Clare Bambra, Professor of Public Health at Newcastle University, who spoke about her new book Getting Better. The Policy and Politics of Reducing Health Inequalities.
The conference, sponsored by Health Equity North and the NIHR School for Public Health, was a fantastic success with more than 100 people in attendance, featuring 18 speakers including Professor Sir Michael Marmot and Dame Margaret Whitehead.
