The Woman of the North parliamentary launch took place in Westminster Hall on September 11, 2024, hosted by Emma Lewell-Buck MP for South Shields.
Keynote speakers included Professor Dame Lesley Regan, Women's Health Ambassador for England, and Amy Van Zyl from REFORM in Newcastle.
More than 60 people attended the event, including MPs and academics from across the North, to discuss the report findings and what can be done to tackling inequalities for women in our regions.
