Health Equity North Academic Co-Director elected for Academy of Medical Sciences Fellowship
A Health Equity North Academic Co-Director, Professor David Taylor-Robinson, Professor of Public Health and Policy at the University of Liverpool, is one of 60 exceptional biomedical and health scientists to receive the Academy of Medical Sciences Fellowship, it has been announced today (Thursday, May 21). Professor Taylor-Robinson is among 60 biomedical and health scientist Fellows to receive this accolade.
The latest cohort of Fellows have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to advancing medical science, through discovery research, translational work and the application of scientific knowledge in ways that deliver tangible benefits for patients and the wider public.
Professor Taylor-Robinson’s expertise ranges across public health, health inequalities, paediatrics and child health, epidemiology and statistics, and evidence synthesis. He has been instrumental in Health Equity North’s mission to fight health inequity by influencing policymakers and enhancing stakeholder understanding of health inequalities through research-informed evidenced solutions
